Your March 2023 Market Update with Stats...

The last year has been a crazy one for the Ottawa real estate market.  Along with the pandemic, came very low listing inventory - driving competition amoungst home buyers and resulting in a surge in home prices.  Many homes went into multiple offers, selling quickly, and most often way over asking.  Now that we are into 2023, and after many interest rate hikes, we are seeing the market adjust to more reasonable levels, and become more balanced.  We are still seeing competition for certain homes but not to the extent we did in 2022.  In the following video
