Here are the numbers for Ottawa Residential homes and the comparison of new listings, homes sold, average sale price, and average days on market from March 2019 and March 2020.

A total of 1525 residential properties were sold in March of 2020 compared with 1501 in March last year, a slight increase of 1.2%. Of these 1525 sales, 1170 were residential property sales (a 3.3% increase from last year) and 355 condominium property sales (a decrease of 5.1% from last year).

While we hope this event only happens once in our lifetime, it's nice to have something like a time capsule to look back on and remember how we were thinking and feeling during the pandemic and how far we've come since.
