Compared to this time last year, the average number of days homes are spending on the market dropped from 55 to 45 days - a decrease of 17.7%. For the month of October alone, there were 261 Real Estate transactions. According to the Ottawa Real Estate Board, condominiums are driving the overall residential real estate market, with year-to-date sales up 21.4 per cent over last year.
